Booking & pricing
-
You tell us the home size, frequency, and any add-ons, and the calculator returns a flat all-in price. That’s what you pay for the home as described. If the condition on arrival is significantly different from what was booked, we’ll talk with you before anything changes.
-
Because with hourly pricing, nobody’s incentives line up. We price the job from your home’s size and condition, not the clock, so our only goal on-site is doing the work right. You know your total before we ever walk in.
-
Yes. The instant quote tool prices your clean and books a real time slot in under 60 seconds. We confirm with a text within minutes; no phone call required unless you want one.
-
Most homes book 3 to 5 days out. Same-day and next-day slots are sometimes available; the calendar in the quote tool shows live openings.
-
Yes, 20% at booking. It reserves your spot on the schedule and is applied toward your total, not added on top.
-
The deposit is collected when you book. The remaining balance is due when your clean is complete. No mid-job charges, no surprises.
-
Card on file through our secure booking system. Your deposit runs at booking and the balance runs after completion.
-
Never expected, always appreciated. Tips go to your cleaner.
Cleaners & team
-
Yes. Every cleaner is screened with a criminal background check before they ever enter a client’s home. Most of our cleaners come to us with years, often decades, of professional cleaning experience, and every one of them goes through our training process on our written service standards before cleaning solo. Experienced hands, held to our standard.
-
On recurring plans, yes, whenever possible. The same lead cleaner is assigned to your home, so they learn your preferences and your space. If your cleaner is ever unavailable, you’ll be notified before the visit and a vetted team member is sent with your home’s preferences on file. And if you’d rather wait for your regular cleaner, just tell us and we’ll reschedule to their next opening instead.
-
Every cleaner on our team is background-checked, covered by workers’ compensation, insured, and authorized to work in the United States. You never have to think about who’s in your home. That’s our job.
Day of the clean
-
Not at all. Most clients give us a code, lockbox combo, or hide-a-key, and many of our long-term clients end up trusting their regular cleaner with full access to come and go. That trust is earned over time, and it’s exactly how we want it. We document every job with before and after photos either way.
-
A little tidying goes a long way: the less time we spend organizing, the more we spend cleaning. Please secure valuables, fragile items, and pets, and make sure we have access to the home with working power and water. Beyond that, just leave the home in the condition you described at booking and we’ll handle the rest.
-
We love pets. Shedding is already priced into your quote, so a furry home is never a surprise charge. The only thing we ask: if your pet is aggressive or shouldn’t be around new people, let us know before the visit so we can plan for everyone’s safety. Otherwise, expect your cleaner to say hi.
-
On time, within the arrival window you’re given at booking. If anything holds your team up, traffic, a wreck, the job before yours running long, you’ll be notified immediately with an updated arrival time. No wondering, no waiting around.
-
You’re responsible for safe and reasonable access at the scheduled time, including working power and water, since our equipment depends on both. If our team can’t get in or the property isn’t ready, a lockout fee equal to your deposit applies. If something out of your control comes up, reach out right away and we’ll do our best to work with you.
Services & scope
-
A standard clean maintains a kept home: kitchens, bathrooms, floors, surfaces, and tidying on a routine basis. A deep clean covers the detail work that never makes it onto a routine list: baseboards, blinds, interior windows, walls, grout, descaling, and behind furniture. If it’s your first clean with us, or it’s been a few months, start with a deep clean and maintain it from there.
-
They’re available as add-ons on any service, priced per appliance in the quote tool. Exteriors are always included.
-
For safety, licensing, and insurance reasons: no biohazards or mold, no pest issues, no exterior windows, nothing above a two-step ladder, and no moving of heavy furniture or appliances. Homes far beyond normal living condition, like hoarding or post-construction debris, need a custom quote rather than a standard booking. Full detail on our scope of service page.
-
Only when the job is genuinely different from what was booked. Your quote is priced from the home’s size and condition as you described them. If the actual condition is significantly beyond that, think heavy buildup throughout, severe clutter, or excessive pet hair, or you request work outside your quoted scope on the day of, a surcharge applies and we’ll always talk with you before anything changes. Describe your home accurately at booking and your price is your price. This is section 8 of our terms.
-
Yes, and we’d rather tell you upfront than let you be disappointed after. Some conditions are permanent: baseboards yellowed or worn down to the point of needing repaint, deep-set stains in grout, discoloration baked into countertops or tubs, scuffs that have gone through the finish, and marks that have set into walls or floors over years. Cleaning removes what sits on a surface. It can’t restore the surface itself. Where something needs painting, refinishing, or replacement, we’ll clean it as far as cleaning goes and tell you honestly what it would take to fix the rest. See the side-by-side examples.
-
Yes, everything: products, vacuums, cloths, the lot. You don’t need to provide a thing, which matters more than you’d think when we’re cleaning an empty home before a move.
-
Yes. We run commercial cleaning for offices, retail, and facilities across the North Atlanta metro, priced custom from your facility’s details. Email contact@redskycleaning.com.
Cancellations & rescheduling
-
Yes. Reschedule free with more than 24 hours’ notice, right from your confirmation text. Cancellations work on a different clock: 3 or more days’ notice gets a full refund of your deposit, while cancellations inside 24 hours, or no-shows, forfeit the deposit. Life happens though. If a true emergency forces a last-minute change, reach out and tell us. We review those individually and we’ll do our best to work with you.
-
No contracts and no minimum number of visits — email or text us before your next scheduled visit and the plan ends there, at no charge. Individual visits keep the usual notice: 24 hours to reschedule, and a reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice incurs a $50 fee; 3 days to cancel a visit for a full refund. Visits already completed stay at the discounted rate you paid. That’s it.
-
Skip a visit anytime, just give us the same notice as a reschedule — more than 24 hours before the visit, or a $50 fee applies. Your recurring discount isn’t affected by the occasional skip. If skips become the pattern, we’ll simply move your plan to the cadence you’re actually using, so your discount always matches your real frequency.
Insurance & safety
-
Yes. Fully insured, with general liability coverage and workers’ compensation on every cleaner. A certificate of insurance is available for your HOA or building on request.
-
Tell us within 24 hours with a photo and we’ll make it right. We assess every damage claim against the before and after photos our team takes on arrival, which also protects you: pre-existing wear is documented before we touch anything, so there’s never a question about what happened on our watch.
-
Yes, on every cleaner, every visit. If a cleaner is ever injured in your home, our workers’ comp policy covers it, not your homeowner’s insurance. That’s the whole point of carrying it.
Products
-
We use professional-grade products matched to each surface, dedicated cleaners for granite, stainless steel, glass cooktops, and sealed wood, and we reach for gentler options first: baking soda and diluted vinegar handle most scrubbing before anything stronger comes out. Stronger products are used only where the surface calls for them, applied carefully and ventilated. If anyone in your home has a sensitivity, tell us in the booking notes and we’ll plan your clean around it.
-
Where the job calls for it, mainly whitening grout and caulk lines on deep cleans, applied carefully, rinsed, and ventilated. It’s the professional tool for that job and nothing else does it as well. If you’d rather we skip bleach in your home entirely, just say so in the booking notes and we will.
-
Yes, just leave them out and note it at booking. No price change for self-provided supplies, and we still bring our own as backup in case something runs out.
Quality & the guarantee
-
If any area within your quoted scope isn’t cleaned to standard, tell us within 24 hours of service with a photo of the spot and we’ll schedule a re-clean of that area at no charge. That’s our standard remedy on every service we run, and it’s in writing. Read the full guarantee policy.
-
Yes, on every job. Our team documents all work areas with before and after photos as standard practice. It’s how we verify quality, resolve any question fairly, and protect both sides. The photos are kept confidential and never used for marketing without your written consent.
-
Every visit ends with a quick rating link in your closeout text. Anything less than great triggers a callback from the owner, not a support queue. Good or bad, we read every single one.
If something goes wrong
-
Contact us first, within 24 hours of service, with a photo of the specific area. That’s the whole process. We review it against the before and after photos from your job and get your re-clean scheduled. Nearly every concern is resolved this way in one conversation.
-
A photo of the specific area, sent within 24 hours of service completion. Our team photographs all work areas before and after every job, so your photo is checked against that documentation and resolved on the evidence. Claims without a photo, or contradicted by the job’s documentation, can’t be honored, which is exactly why we document everything: it keeps the process fair in both directions.
-
Yes. If you were present and walked the completed work with your cleaner, that walkthrough confirms the job met your satisfaction at the time. A concern raised afterward just needs the same thing any claim does: a photo of the specific area within 24 hours, reviewed against the job’s documentation.
-
If you book for a property where someone else is on-site, that person is authorized to direct and approve the service on your behalf. Their instructions and sign-off are binding, so choose someone you trust to speak for you.
-
Talk to us first, always. It’s in your terms, and more importantly it’s faster: a chargeback takes your bank weeks to process, while a message to us gets a response the same day and a re-clean on the schedule. Completed work documented by our before and after records is considered rendered as agreed, and we defend disputes with that documentation. One text to us beats six weeks of bank paperwork every time.
